My wife and I took over the flat in June 2016 and we have just handed back the keys. The move in was efficiently and courteously handled. The Tenancy Agreement was clear and easily understood, if you bothered to read it. The opening Inventory Report remorselessly detailed every defect and this worked to the advantage of the Tenant. Since that time, we have had several inspections, all of which were signalled well in advance. The Murray team behaved considerately throughout and we established cordial relations with the two staff members we encountered. The recent check out proceeded smoothly and no problems arose. It is too soon for us to receive our return of deposit and I don't anticipate issues arising.

Comment on agent fees
Agents’ fees for letting are currently a political hot potato and there are moves to outlaw them. Murray’s fees in June 2016 were higher than most but I was lucky enough not to have to worry about the marginal extra cost. And the flat was terrific!

What agent could do to change your mind?
To have kept any of the deposit for that house, given the amount of rent we'd paid, and the fact that we left the house as you'd expect after 3 years, is criminal and unkind.Attached Filesnbsp;

Very poor customer service, rude and abrupt. We still await our full deposit being returned and feel let down as we were good tenants who always paid and looked after the property. Please look somewhere else if considering renting....
