As a landlord I have found Walton Robinson to be an outstanding letting agency.
Richard Ponton, one of the directors, was my initial point of contact within the organisation. He was recommended to me by a friend and fellow landlord as being highly professional, and this has proved to be the case. His expectation that clients must receive an outstanding level of service has been effectively communicated to all members of his team, presumably through rigorous training, as his workforce are equally professional and efficient in all areas of their work.
There is a real sense of 'team spirit' at Walton Robinson. Whenever I telephone, and whoever I speak to, my query is dealt with promptly and courteously and the matter swiftly resolved to the satisfaction of both myself and my tenants. If I have reason to call into the the office there is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere within the building, and I am always made to feel welcome and valued as a client.
All of the property supervisors I have been allocated over the years appear to enjoy their work and nothing I request - at times I can be an exacting and demanding landlord - is ever too much trouble.
Indeed, without the excellent advice and support I have received from this organisation I may well have decided to sell rather than rent, as managing a property with an HMO Licence is a challenging affair!
Having in the past dealt with another letting agent in the city offering a much poorer level of service, I believe I am well placed as a landlord to make a judgement on the quality of service offered by Walton Robinson.

Comment on agent fees
Acceptable, given the level of service offered. My property is always quickly let to reliable and responsible tenants. I am very satisfied with the rent I have received.

We are sorry to see that you have been dissatisfied with our service.
Unfortunately if properties are not returned as they were handed over then it can take some time for deposits to be returned to tenants. We have to arrange for works, await invoices and liaise with landlords before we are able to release any amounts.
We do apologise if there has been delays in correspondence. The summer is an exceptionally busy time for us.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
