This is by far the snobbiest estate agent I have ever dealt with, the agents having massive egos for no reason.
The Woodford branch doesn't not value customer care, we completed in over a 7 figure home and not even the courtesy of a congratulations. They even opened my mail that was given to them and they said Royal Mail opened it, what rubbish.
To serve this company bonuses they made us exchange and complete in a very short time frame, which we had no issue in doing but still to this date we have strong feelings that the strict time frames for completion were a complete lie. We even used thier ifa and solicitors to assist them in the sale so we could be more certain they wouldn't mess us about.
However, when it came to just plain decency they lacked it. These guys are just plain rude and possibly even racist which extends beyond the guys at the branch all the way to their operational manager who doesn't even have time for a phone call.
This is an arrogant agent which you should avoid. We are in a buyers market so choose your agents wisely and go somewhere where your money is appreciated.
Even after completing this agent wouldn't even let us relax in our home and still sent us emails about the previous owner, this is just rude when the agent didn't even check the house to ensure that the previous owners took there rubbish.
I am a frequent property buyer and also a developer, in all my years I've never encountered such out of touch and uncustomer service orientated agent. From the start they said they are only interested in pleasing the seller and not the buyer. This showed.
This company is ageist and racist, AVOID.
Take your business to John Toma or David Epsom at Portico. These agents definitely will value you more.
Comment on agent fees
No comment as the buyer. However, I made sure they got paid during a general property recession!

It is the seller that is the client who will pay £1,000s to the agent. Harsh to complain of poor service when you have paid Lawlors £0.

No fees information available
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Complaints Procedure

All complaints are recorded at the time they are made and must be made to the member of staff concerned.

If the complaint cannot be satisfied at this point the complaint should be made in writing to the Branch Manager or Operations Manager - a list can be made available by contacting the Director’s
Operations manager, Jimi Epps, by e-mail [email protected] or by telephone 020 8418 1897 or in writing to: Jimi Epps, Lawlors Property Services, 165 High Road, Loughton, Essex. IG10 4LF

All written complaints will be acknowledged in writing either by postal letter or e-mail within 3 working days and a proper investigation promptly undertaken. A formal written outcome of this investigation will be sent to the Complainant within 15 working
days.

If the Complainant remains dissatisfied they can then pursue the complaint via the Managing Director – Mr Elliott Lawlor – email: [email protected] - at the same address as above. This should provide the opportunity for a speedy, separate and detached review of the complaint by someone not directly involved in the transaction. Such a review will be sent to the Complainant within 15 working days.

Following the conclusion of the investigation a written statement expressing final views and including any offer made will be sent to the complainant. This will also explain how the matter can be referred to the Ombudsman, pointing out that any such referral must be made within 6 months.

Please be aware that a complaint cannot be sent direct to the Ombudsman without first following the internal complaints procedure.
