I believe they should be shut down. This is our experience:
- We were told all tenants in the house will sign a 12 month contract, but we have lived with 6 different people already. We are not introduced to new people and it doesn't feel very safe.
- One of the flatmates has left the front door open several times and another had her keys stolen. It feels more like a hostel actually, but worse because City Rooms takes no accountability for your safety and could even blame you for something done by a tenant they have placed in the flat (e.g. lost keys, damage possibly?);
- The sales agent told us categorically that all bills are included, but the contract says different;
- The cleaner comes half as often as stated in the contract;
- The viewing agent lied about his name;
- They keep telling people one of the rooms here is an en-suite and people are surprised on arrival that there is no toilet.

We are moving out and won't make the same mistake twice. All of the people we have met through City Rooms are living in London for the first time and it appears to me that they have been taken advantage of. Please avoid them.
Comment on agent fees
Sales team lied about bills. They also tried to charge a fee to reimburse some deposit after we got employment, which is not stated anywhere in the contract or anywhere.

Hi Jack,

Thanks for your comments, just to clarify, before your sign the tenancy agreement, you signed something called "holding deposit" in this form you can clearly find the Landlord contribution towards the bills, it is literally next to where you signed so its very unlikely that missed this part.
With regards to the atmosphere and tenant rotation, well, what can we do? send me your suggestion to my email [email protected].

Overall, there is an en-suite room in the property, I certainly don't understand why you say no to that.

The cleaner comes fortnightly and I have checked the rota and noticed she has not missed one appointment at all.

Been in a house where I used to pay 1083£ pound a month for nothing ! Heater and hot water was missing almost all the time I’ve been in there and for them the priority was make money and not adjust the boiler! I report that’s someone come in to the flat breaking a window in the kitchen and asked them to repair it but never done anything and I can say that 1 moths before this happened 2 people got stabbed in the building and 1 die after the stab !
