I am investigating a lease extension for my mother who is elderly and has been in hospital for six months and is now back home. Her lease has 21 years remaining on a flat that she bought back in 1980 of which the Landlords are Freshwater. I have sought advice and from what I understand the battle my Mother would have with Freshwater would not be something she is well enough or willing to undertake. The remaining lease will hopefully cover my Mother's lifespan. However, after that time, myself and my brother will be left with a millstone around our necks, so we are looking into how to avoid this problem and from what I have understood, I am dealing with an organisation akin to the Nazi's and I cannot believe that nothing can be done to stop the continued malpractice and abuse that this organisation has been allowed to inflict over so many years. I have been told by someone that three prospect purchasers for my mothers flat would not touch it because it is owned by Freshwater. In this day and age I refuse to accept that nothing can be done to get justice for all the past, present and future unfortunate people who have or will associate with this organisation.
Surely all thereviewers that have reflected the unscrupulous actions of this company for so many years would be willing to sign a petition for getting this company into the public eye e.g. Watchdog or their local MP. I cannot and refuse to believe that there is nothing that all the aggrieved people can do to put an end to the appalling way this company is allowed to continue handling its clients. You've all suffered in silence too long.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Relate to those they deal with as human beings with compassion and as if they were their mother, son or daughter - would they want their nearest and dearest to be dealt with in the same way? What goes around comes around after all.
