Was positive to begin with until *tried to stitch me up with rates in order to fit into his listings deadline. Originally started on 1.3% + VAT. Wanted to speak to someone we knew internally about negotiation but when the topic came up, *he denied he offered us 1.3% + VAT and upped it to 1.4% + VAT!!! All because I didn't sign up in the three day window he needed to hit his team targets (my internal friend was on compassionate leave to make it worse hence why I didn't sign up in 3 days).
When in discussion with him about this he continued to deny until I reminded him of the other people in the room when we discussed rates. He then backtracked and implied that he wasn't sure if he could actually sell my property anyway - especially as he had failed to sell my neighbours property over the last 3 months.
I was so shocked my this I went back to their website to check their reviews which seemed to be glowing - until I checked the dates. There isn't any 5 star reviews since August 2015. Clearly performance as well as their work ethics has decreased.

Comment on agent fees
They vary depending on the team targets, can be way more flexible if they desperately want to list your house as they have targets based on this. However make sure you get rates in writing as they can up by cowboy agents that fail to hit targets. I was offered 1.3% - 1.4% + VAT

Cant agree more. Service was so bad. They work on getting people through the door rather than the right people in. Offer no advice once someone offers on your property. Cant keep a diary and are so reactive they don't even chase up on people who have offered on your property. We were so disheartened by the process we pulled out of a potential sale.
