A lot of these reviews seem so strange... people don't usually leave reviews for things that should come as standard such as you guys picking up the telephone once in a while, processing paperwork within a reasonable timeframe, or just not being rude. People only leave reviews for outstanding service, nothing your company could be accused of.
The issues I have had in nearly a year of Touchstone tenancy are too numerous to mention, from being left without hot water for weeks (on two separate occasions) to fly tipping not being acted upon, to being charged for a security check that never happened, to having to wait two months after moving in to get a contract. Yet the biggest problem is that employees just don't ever make a note of anything. If you actually get hold of someone (I have called the phone continuously for 20minutes before now for it to not be picked up. Apparently you every single person in the office happened to be on lunch. Doesn't seem like a smart business model if you want the business of people who work during working hours) it's always as if you're speaking about an issue for the first time. If the employee you speak to doesn't know the answer, they just make something up, blame someone else or, on one occasion, pretend the line has broken up and hang up.
I truly despair of what will happen next. I've been through your super effective complaints procedure several times now, and yet nothing is ever resolved. No behaviours change. No processes modified, and if anything the standard of service we receive only declines. Not even a damn sorry once in a while.
The good news is that no matter how angry, or disappointed in Touchstone I am, you do continually find ways to outdo yourselves.
I beg other renters to think really carefully before renting a touchstone property. This way happiness does not lie.
Comment on agent fees
If the agents fulfilled their duties the fees would be reasonable. As they do not, they are not.
