Pay very high charges then expect to do all the work yourself getting quotes and repairs done, and cleaning and removing rubbish. You'll pay for any damages the tenants do too. If you don't do the work yourself they will let the property run down. They don't even bother visiting the property themselves and staff frequently change, so when you do speak to someone they have no idea what you are talking about. They do NOT manage on your behalf, they are managing for the tenants, though on short lets this seems to mean not answering calls from tenants who have a problem as they know they'll leave soon anyway. Their strategy seems to be do do as little or nothing at all for their fees if possible. If they do eventually send trades in they will massively mark up their costs, and you'll pay for that too.

If Foxtons manage your short lets expect to pay 30% of your rental fee to them plus at least another 10% or more in additional fees and charges. Exceptionally poor value for money. It must work out at £500+/hr of time they actually spend working on your behalf v's money charges. And the tenants are ripped off too.

Though Daniel, property manager was nice and friendly, the person who was dealing with us - John Johnston was far prom being professional at any point. Was arrogant, rude and abusive via the phone, calling himself "one of the most reasonable guys in the company". It was simply a joke when he tried to threaten me promising problems and telling me that i can be remove by force from the property because im not a tennant!!! (the contract is on my girfriends name) all depends who reads it, and if i was a person who can do something about it i would consider some actions on this issue, because the customer service we received from that gentlemen was absolutely horrible.Attached Filesnbsp;
