We have extremely bad experience with this letting agency:( and had lost our money. Over a year ago had rented through them a property in Milton Keynes and payed rent and deposit in the agency, received bunch of papers including DPS information page, which stated this is the scheme which will protect our deposit 3500£. However that was just a information page not the full certificate, which should arrive few days later. I had believed everything was fine as payed in agancy etc... I was so wrong, the agency did not protect my money they gave it to landlord instead and gave me no information about it, they never worn me I need to receive proper certificate and make sure the money is safe. Landlord took it to own pocket and I never seen it since. I am still trying to get it back through solicitors but the process takes so much time and extra money. So much rather would spend it for my kids then stuff pockets of dishonest landlord. I feel robbed and cheated.. Be alert!!!!!!!! When renting with this agency make sure your money are protected otherwise you will end up with so much stress and trouble as I did.
The property was in a bad condition the bath was leeking heavily, could not use it at all. The dishwasher was not working ( they attempted to fix it but it didn't work out) and other smaller issues.
Another thing was the property was going to be sold later on so before actually decided to rent it I was confirmed by one of the stuff (L.) that for first 6 months of rent I will not be disturbed by viewings. That was only way I actually decided to rent it. However later on stuff denied this information (unfortunately I did not have it in writing) and had to accommodate the hustle of viewings.
This was my worst renting experience ever.

Unfortunately this sounds very similar to our situation as landlords through Haart. Our inventory clerk missed major damage from his report. The deposit claim went to the TDS and based everything on the inventory report. The damages not awarded amount to around £2k! We weren't given any TDS reference or opportunity to see what was submitted - almost like Haart were covering their tracks. Absolutely shameful. ...

Yes as an agent they should cater to needs of their customers regardless of status. I felt the discrimination and this is not fair.

same here...very disappointed in them ( Milton keynes branch) They never returned our calls, promised to call back what never happened, we had to chase them many times before we got someone to talk to... What's more, once we found the right flat we said we are happy to make an offer but only willing to pay the reduced premium ( 1000 off the original premium price because the bathroom was a shower room as the previous occupier was disabled...anyways... we wanted to spend the money we save on t ...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
