Having narrowed down my initial criteria for finding an Estate Agent, I first identified a company who had a good knowledge of the area where my house was situated, and a company whose name I was familiar with, as they had sold many properties in my local area.
My initial approach felt very informal, and a very optimistic and positive attitude was presented by the helpful staff there; even in view of the limited period in which they had to act, i.e.: that I would be absent from the U.K. for 5 months, and I would be leaving in a matter of days.
My property was marketed within that few days and purchasers secured within 11 days. Lawler & Co., were very quick to produce a garden board, photographs and sales brochure and the marketing was expedited without delay.
I aways felt I was getting personal attention. Nothing was too much trouble.
The sale was expedited over the Christmas and New Year period without any delays even though I was overseas from the beginning to the end of the sale, all enquiries and advice were handled swiftly and Lawler & Co., went out of their way undertaking many extra tasks.
