Bensons made purchasing a flat an awful experience and they should be ashamed of their behaviour. We had an offer accepted on a flat and from that very second they were hounding and hounding us to speed up the process. We were looking for a quick move and the seller a quick sell so we were wanting to move quick on our own accord but bensons were relentless. they were calling us daily asking for updates and telling us to push through even though we were going as fast as us and the conveyencers could. They kept telling us the seller is threatening to pull out and causing us a tremendous amount of stress. they told us at one point it was teking too long and they would be re-marketing the flat despite the offer being accepted only 5 weeks earlier! after 7 weeks they told us the buyer had pulled out and unless we exchanged by the end of the day we had lost it. We managed to exchange but I fear we couldn't give the process the full diligence it deserved. After completion and speaking to the seller it became apperent that they had completely manufactured the situation of the seller pulling out and had been telling him the exact same about us. they had also been houding our mortgage broker and the solicitor independently and really winding everyone up. So it turns out they have no care or consideration about anything but scrounging for their commission like dogs. I would never recommend these to anyone and they turned what should have been a celebratory occasion into an incredibly stressful ordeal that they had completely lied about.

Benson & partners marketed our property online by using another agents images and without ours our their permissions. This is unethical to say the least. They also installed a board over another agents board completely covering it up so theirs could be seen.
