Unfortunately my experience with Andrew Reeves Countrywide has been a complete disaster.
Tanya shown me a small flat in terrible conditions.
She told me that there was everything ready to plug a washing machine. False, as i discovered after signing the contract and calling a plumber.
2 years and a lot of money for the laundry service.
( i still have all the email exchanged with her).
In 2 years I never called them and always sorted out all the issues by myself, receiving also the compliments from the manager during the only inspection they did.
Never a late payment, always looked after the flat like it was mine, applying wallpapers, blinds, curtains and even asking the management if they want to keep them and leaving everything for free.
After my check out and after 40 days of waiting to have my deposit back they sent me an email saying that they will reduce my deposit by 250£ for cleaning a 40sq flat.
At this point is important to let the readers knows that i paid 86£ for a professional cleaner when i moved in and that the flat has been left in much better conditions.
I felt teased.
They told me that they will give me back the rest of the deposit and keep the deduction into the DPS. Obviously they still haven't.
I dealt with few lettings agents in south London and Kent, my job push me to move quite often, this one has been the worst by far.
Only special nice mention for Connie and Matthew always kind and professional.

Dear Antonio,
Sorry to hear that you feel you have had a bad service, we take all feedback very seriously. I have had a look into your account and would be happy to discuss this over the phone with you. As you can appreciate we are bound by deductions advised by our landlords and as such in your case the property was professionally when you moved in and as such would need to be professionally cleaned when you vacate. Your property manager has confirmed that the balance of the deposit has been released to you so should be received shortly and the deposit company will decide on the balance once a dispute has been raised. As advised I will happily discuss this in further detail with you over the phone.

I think they were a bit expensive on the whole. However the contract and the inventory are quite thick so I can understand how it got to the price I was charged as printing is expensive. Also they where done elsewhere ie head office. If I get the service I don't mind paying a bit more.

Jack and Sophie have been extremely helpful in ensuring my letting went through quickly and efficiently. Post moving in, Jack has been valuable and practical in working with the landlord to progress improvements to the property. Would definitely recommend the team to future tenants....
