Very dodgy and respectable when dealing with me, right from the start. Finished a contract on the same day i was suppose to be moving into a Citiside property but when i arrived, the room was ready. They offered a room for me to stay at that night and move in the following day but i had no means to transport my belongings (as i had organised everything for the supposed day to move) and also i had work. Not hugely apologetic about this issue. Also worrying as i had been shown pictures of the room furnished, when this was mentioned, no one seemed to know where these images were from. On two occasions i was told excuses about why i could physically view the property also.
Bad communication, bad planning, bad organisation. All they were concerned about was acquiring the HOLDING DEPOSIT which you will not get back!! I paid £650 however later found the same room up for advertisement with the deposit of £300.
If you do go with these people, ask questions, read the small print and understand what you are paying for and if you will see the deposit again. I did not, now they are unwilling to refund me the £650 deposit after telling them i no longer want to proceed with the accommodation due to their unprofessional nature and attitude.
Please do not find property through these people, they will take you money and they will not show you the decency you deserve by being a customer.

Oliver, unfortunately citiside has gone into liquidation, I suggest you contact the liquidator Edge Recovery (edgerecovery.com) about this. I also recommend you check with MyDeposit about this as they are the deposit protection company that CitiSide used. Your deposit should have been protected so it should be possible to get it back. ...
