Well well well... does not surprise me in the slightest that this company has dreadful reviews.
Started off great... initially spoke to a young girl a few times then after paying to secure the property I was passed to Jane. All great, good communication seemed really nice etc until after I'd paid my money and took the keys.
Baring in mind my application had to pass their âvery highâ standards. And I was paying what was definitely on the high end of the scale for a nice modern flat.
As soon as I walked in the door I immediately realised what a huge mistake I'd made. The flat wasn't cleaned, worktops were de-laminated (apparently my fault as it was sold as seen, even tho this was hidden).
When challenged on the cleanliness of the property, I was told that the landlord said it had been professionally cleaned. Obviously untrue which I could prove, but the conversation seemed to be shut down. Pushed enough that I was told someone would come and clean the kitchen.
Heard quite loud road noise from the bedroom, upon checking realises the window mechanism was broken and wasn't air tight nor safe. I was repeatedly told I wasn't using it right, it had been checked by the landlord and it had been checked by âColinâ who didn't see what my problem was. Finally had a visit from the handyman who was âgoing to show me how to work the windowâ. The handyman agreed that the mechanism wasn't working, the office still never accepted that the window was broke.
My telephone conversations were very unprofessional, so much so I decided I would only communicate via email. Of course all emails were responded to in a professional manner, avoiding any responsibility.
I was let out of my lease after 2 weeks one can only assume it was because I was on them like a tonne of bricks.
I was told my refund would be in my account the following afternoon. However, two weeks later and multiple emails and demands for proof of transfer being made before this was processed.
Jane continually reiterated other people's stance, basically calling me a liar. However, when challenged for insinuating I was lying I received a well practiced response and avoidance of responsibility.
As a tenant or landlord please save yourself the trouble and avoid at all costs. Never ever again

I’m down £330+ for rental of a flat that I never spent a single night in therefor I’ll go ahead and say bad.
