In regards to the start of our tenancy I met with a number of law advisors, who advised us to walk away from the contract at the beginning of our tenancy and that we were completely free and able to do so. Upon trying to tell your staff that, he lied in my face and tried talking to me like I'm a dumb student. I understand you have a lot to deal with however.. I think as a company treating students as adults might be a better way to start. From the beginning and we aren't the only ones who feel this way.. you take full advantage of most of us being young and naive. And with deposits We've been told we weren't the only ones struggling to get it from you this year. In terms of you saying you let the landlord go because he caused so many issues. I can tell you straight that's not true Purple frog did viewings for our landlord prior to us moving out.

My apologies that you had problems with your tenancy. I can see that you did have maintenance problems when you first moved in and that promises made to you weren't kept. Unfortunately, it seems the landlord was telling you one thing and then telling us something else.

I am glad to see that you got your deposit back in full, sorry that it took four months for it to happen.

We are no longer working with the landlord of that particular property, as they have not been honest with you or us.

I realise that this doesn't make up for the problems you had during your tenancy. I am also not happy sending you a response that blames someone else for your experiences. Where we have made mistakes, we do own up to them and try to make them right.

Sorry that it took heart ache on your part to highlight issues with the property and the conduct of the owner.
