Terrible experience. Have just done an inventory of a flat and moving in today. The state of the property is disgraceful, what was supposed to professionally cleaned has been barely touched - mould everywhere, spider webs, human hair in the cupboards, food on the floor, dirt in the corners. Ceiling in the. Atheism is coming down and bathtub is covered in black mould. The inventory agent said this is a normal standard and it can't be done better! I have just sprayed a little bleach on the bathtub and the mould is already coming out- suspect this hasn't even been touched. On the top of it heating doesn't work and we have a baby. Called the agency the day before our move to say this was unacceptable, was told that they will rectify but nobody got back to us. However we received their email saying that if we have any problems we need to deal with landlord now. Honestly I have never seen a property being handed over in such a terrible state and an agency with such a bad attitude. Communication is a struggle suddenly but when they needed the deposit they called several times a day. Another perfect example of people who are solely after your money and would sell you anything just to make few pounds! Will be taking this further and pass the info on. Will avoid at all cost in the future.
