Absolutely appalling agency, with zero respect or regard for tenants. There is an arrogance and superiority held by staff members, they seem to feel they are above their customers. I moved into a pricey house 2 months ago, and it's been a constant fight with them to try to get them to do repairs which existed before I even moved in. Like the other reviewer has said, they blame everyone else for their incompetence, and they couldn't organize the popping of a bag of microwave popcorn. I've requested repeatedly, since day 1 for repairs to be done - my requests are ignored, then appointments are made, I wait at home for tradesmen contracted by Charters who simply don't show up - then of course Charters is busy blaming everyone else again that the repair hasn't been done. They expect to be able to walk into my property any time they like, which is a constant intrusion. Many things should have been rectified before I moved in - I paid almost £6000 to move in, a 2 month deposit, plus a month up front, and I moved into a nightmare situation. They have destroyed any enjoyment I could have had of the property. I'll be instructing a lawyer this week to serve a notice to quit on Charters, due to their constant breach of tenant's rights, and breach of the contract. I'm more than disgusted by this agency. Avoid them.

Expensive - around £450 for what basically included one viewing and a £25 credit check. And lots of lies and misrepresentations about the property.
