An ongoing bed bug issue (that they have since admitted was 'historic') was not disclosed prior to tenancy. Issues raised received no reply, either via email or phone call, so the issue was left undealt with between September 2016 and January 2017. Enquiries as to the form of compensation were, again, ignored.
A mid-term visit to check on the property insisted we use the bathroom's extractor fan to prevent mould or we would be liable to charge - no such fan existed in the whole property (and in fact we had notified the company of the mould issue some 4 months prior).
The landlord has switched agencies, and at the end of our tenancy Your Move felt warranted to withhold most of our security deposit - when contested, they conceded almost all of this, proving (at least to me) that they were perfectly aware that what they were doing was wrong and illegal.
My other tenants and I are currently in the process of taking them to court - if you are considering renting, avoid (particularly if a student) as they feel obliged to take advantage of you.
