Not through choice, my 80+ yr old parents have been with DCPC for about 4 years.
Every year, I ask if DCPC can look at setting up a D/D, instead of a standing order to pay the bills....as each year, the amount goes up.
This means that despite our standing order being paid on time, there is an outstanding amount from the annual increase. Despite this, DCPC have not looked into starting D/Ds for clients.
I just telephoned to pay the oustanding amount from this year's bill and was told by the lady that they weren't 'allowed' to take payments over the phone (as they have over 70 bank accounts) and that I could just pay the amount online.
I suggested that being 80+, my parents aren't sure about paying online...and perhaps if DCPC have 70 bank accounts, they should also have the staff to manage these accounts.
A classic case of crappy British customer service - and reflects the level of service over the last 4 years.
Truly underwhelming company; if you're looking to find a management company...try someone else.
