Lots of issues with mismanagement of a tenancy. Here are a few below;
Telling us a new tenant was lined up and a moving in date given, and not having them sign a contract. The tenant then pulled out a few days before they were due to move in leaving the property then empty, when they had three months to get a tenant. The signed contract was repeatedly requested by myself at no point was I informed they had no signed contract. This was negligent on their part.
Not getting agreed work done on the property when it was empty between tenancies. The empty period was suggested by the agent for this purpose.
Asking for payment for works completed by their contractor that had not been completed. I visited the property and saw the uncompleted works. I was then told they were going back to finish the works, this was not billed as uncompleted works and they were not anticipating my visit.
A damp patch caused by botched drainage work undertaken by their contractors.
When I requested said contractor did no further work on the property they ignored this and carried out work and billed for it....more than once.
Repeatedly sending the rent to the wrong bank account even though you had been supplied with the right details on several occasions, this went on for months.
Being lied to by being told the person dealing with our property was away from their desk when they had actually left the company.
Not having the property ready for when those tenants moved in, not being capable of getting them to maintain the property and not documenting the check in or check properly.
I emailed Mark Manning several times across a year he has never responded. Nicola only responded on one issue in a long list I raised and ignored all the others. Appalling service. I would avoid them at all costs as they have no interest in addressing the problems they have caused just excuses.
