This was my first time renting a property through Umega and I was very pleased with the process.
They were able to fit me in with a flat viewing on the property in question less than 2 hours after I had first got in contact with the office.
Our property and correspondence was mostly dealt with by Caitlin. She was very helpful, friendly and professional throughout, providing updates throughout the process on what we still needed to do and was able to answer all of the questions we had about the renting process. When we had problems obtaining references within the original time limit set out Caitlin was very understanding and was happy to delay the process until we could sort everything out.
Checking our references and then finally moving in was all very quick and easy with no last minute fees to pay or extra forms we hadn't been told about.

Complaints Procedure

Umega Lettings and Estate Agents aims to deliver an outstanding service to both landlords and tenants and we adhere to high professional standards, acting with integrity at all times. However, if you have a complaint this should be made, in writing to your property manager. If the matter is not brought to a satisfactory conclusion with 5 working days a formal complaint can be made, in writing, to our Head of Office who will investigate the issue and respond within 5 working days. If a customer is still not satisfied they are encouraged to contact either the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and The Property Ombudsman who may investigate the complaint on our customer's behalf.
