In my opinion whether you be buying renting or selling you should never be tempted to use this office in any shape or form
.
From start to finish the whole process was an absolute shambles. The following is a simple (!) overview of the sort of 'service' we received.
Homelet passed our references within 2 days. Dexters continued to want additional bank statements maintaining it was at the request of Homelet. Direct contact with Homelet confirmed they had not requested any further information and they had no hesitation in approving the request.Dexter Isleworth then advised it was their referencing department which wanted them. No reason offered as to why I needed to provide this confidential information. Then they decided there was a problem with identifications and when I raised the query with another Dexter office they simply couldn't understand what the problem was. When this Dexters a office spoke with Isleworth in an attempt to sort, they were given information which didn't in any way resemble the truth of the matter and could be easily proven to be totally incorrect in every form. The office attempting to help couldn't understand why they had been passed such deliberately misleading information from THEIR OWN OFFICE.
There then followed a series of 'right hand not knowing what the left was doing' conversations and e mails. All this finally resulted in the most bizarre reason being given as to why they purportedly could not proceed.
Then followed the usual delay in repaying monies. I can send in 2 hours but they took 7 days to return it,
Another letting was then arrange via another agent and the deal was completed without fuss or any bother withing 3 days.
I have in my time never encountered such a large number of failures in communication, errors and distortions of the truth. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone unless you happen to enjoy being totally messed around. The only reason I have given one star is that there no possibility of giving minuses.
