Not enough words to describe how disappointed I am about this unscrupulous agency which doesn't care about customer satisfaction at all !
After a short term letting ,left the flat cleaner that I found it and return the keys to the agency myself in person ! Waited for my £700 deposit to be returned but instead I received a bill stating as it follows :
Minus £165 cleaning (again,left it cleaner that I found it)
Minus £195check out (again,I have return the keys in person to the agency)
Minus £120-clean mattress
Minus £100- repair of damage light fitting
Minus £35-missing duvet cover
This accusation that I have stolen the duvet cover is simply outrageous ,they are pointing me that I am thief when they are the real and lowest thieves ever !!!
If you think that there is no reason for them to stop your deposit think again !! They will definitely improvise something ,as they did in my case and with many others as well !
Stay safe ,stay way from Foxton !!

Gather your deposit paperwork, and put a complaint in with the deposit scheme., that they use, they are not allowed to do this you are entitled to argue this matter. They need to provide proof and I bet they don't have it

What agent could do to change your mind?
I think most of the aspects are quite good. It is understandable that sometimes some of employees are not satisfactory -- which related to their personal manner and attitude, as I'm a HR therefore I kindly suggest to re-evaluate some of staffs who doesn't have good feedback too many

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
