Having bought through Bacon and then later meeting the previous owners of our property it has become apparent that the practices of Bacon are not quite as transparent and honest s they may lead you to believe. The building survey we had paid for was never submitted to the previous owners during negotiations even after ensuring us it had been, even the previous owners raised concern as to why they were not being presented the survey, the answer that Bacon gave them was falsely to do with confidentiality. The building survey raised serious concerns relating to structural issues which the previous owners were unaware of and even affirmed a structural engineer's survey will be required in the future to substantiate and address issues mentioned and now the entire back end of the house is being held up with props all at extra cost to ourselves, not only that, the previous owners were also convinced into unnecessarily having their entire electrical board renewed and damp surveys undertaken prior to us buying. Probably a good buyer's agent if you want an inflated evaluation and want to hide any issues from the seller, but don't expect these people to honour legitimate concerns over their commission.
