We are going through a NIGHTMARE. We moved from Europe, in a Marsh and Parsons apartment a month ago, with our 3 year old. We reported an awful smell in the master bedroom right away. After having the manager of the buikding unreachable and contractors come and check but not do anything and not coming back, we had a contractor finally come yeatwrday and tell us the truth : it is a smell from rats and mice. I feel horrible ever since that news : NOBODY CARES ABOUT OUR CASE AT MARSH AND PARSONS. There is a huge hygiene problem and nobody cares and their answer (when they answer) is : if we break our contract this early in time, we have to pay an amount to break it + the months of rent where there is no tenant".
We are a young couple, in artistic fields, our 3 year old started nursery in the area. I feel stuck in a nightmare.
What about justice ?
What about a hygiene case like this ?
Is it normal in 2017 to pay this much a two bedroom in Notting Hill and have to sleep in our living room
? I am so angry. Trying to not get depressed from this.
Can anyone please recommend a good lawyer ? We are still here and we need help.

Refusing to release fees despite my need to relocate (at my expense) as a result of issues that were known and existing prior to my occupancy. These people will hold onto their cash with a death grip regardless of whether they are right or wrong
