Absolute garbage of a company. I came to view the property right after it was listed on the website, and made an offer on the spot. The agent said, everything looks very positive and she will get back to me asap. She also said that Chestertons are the only agents listing this property so I have nothing to worrt about. I offered to put security fee to take the property off the market but was advised not to do so until all the paperwork will be ready. And then I waited, and waited more, my calls were ignored, when I finally was able to reach my agent and asked if everything is OK she said all is fine they just getting everything ready. I said are you sure landlord is happy with the offer and is not looking for a better deal, and I was reassured that 'we don't play with people's lives like that, your offer is accepted'. Never received an actual email regarding an offer being accepted, just words. And then I was told to wait again. Few days later I recieve a call that 'landlord has accepted the offer through another agent' even though I was told Chestertons is the ONLY agency listing this flat. Lied to me. And also lied to me that the offer has been accepted because it clearly was not.
So now I am left without a flat with all my possetions packed up, and if I don't find a place asap I will become homeless. THANK YOU CHESTERTONS FOR THAT.
Bunch of liars. Never use this agency. Worthless.
