Visited a few weeks ago from London to view property in Canterbury, made my interest in property clear. Received a call back the next day in which I restated interest and questions for seller, told someone would call me back. Throughout the following week received no call back so rang several times for updates only to be met with confusion and told each time that a colleague would call me back.
No colleague ever called me back. I rang up myself and made an offer on the property. Assured that someone would call me back.
Again, no call back. Couple days later I notice the property was no longer listed online and on September 21 called Miles & Barr to be told that the property had been sold!
I reminded them of my offer and was told that there was no record of my offer on file.
Expressed my disappointment to deputy manager Reiss who assured he would call me the following Monday to explain and assist in finding me a similar property. Well it's now Friday and unsurprisingly, no call back.
Unprofessional, disappointing service all round.

We have been looking for a property in Kent, so I understand your problems, Miles and Barr Canterbury are by miles, the worst agent we encountered, they do not answer their phones, ignore emails, excuses included “we were at an awards ceremony Saturday night ” and “we were in a meeting” your experience does not surprise me! I can only agree with this review having been kept in the dark and having only a few viewings over several months. The phone almost always defaults to the head office and not Canterbury. The people who deal with the property keep changing so they don't feed back or have good communication. End result my house is no longer on the market with them. ...

Hi Nick, was the property in question 6 Montfort Close at all? My mother in law is currently selling the property with Miles and Barr in Canterbury and have had nothing but lies and trouble from them, and had a viewing for around the timeframe you said.
