Moved to London with a need to find a single bed apartment ASAP - after multiple nightmarish experiences with many different Letting agencies (Portico, Foxtons, Cluttons, etc) I walked into Dexters, and Henry helped set up a viewing based on my specifications within 30 minutes, and then, within a week, and with the help of another agent (Ricky) I was moved in! Almost miraculous. Based on my other experiences, I never could have imagined that finding what I needed could have gone so smoothly. My only point of improvement would be that it would have been nice to have received regular updates about the process, instead of having to constantly ask about the status of the let, or what needed to be done next. However, as September in London is one of the busiest times of year, property-wise, I understand the radio silence. Both Ricky and Henry were incredibly friendly and accommodating - they understood what I wanted and my timeline, and did their utmost to help me and answered all of my many questions. There were no mistakes or loose ends that I'm aware of, and all of the financial details were laid out clearly and there were no surprise fees, which was especially nice as a international postgraduate student, new to the area. I am very grateful and would recommend them to anyone who has done their market research and knows what they want in a property.
Comment on agent fees
Expensive, but in keeping with most agency fees for the N1 area.
