I had to change agents, because they couldn't or wouldn't pursue a sale. I now have a buyer that was first introduced by Fox and Sons, they made an offer, we turned it down, Fox and Sons then told them to look elsewhere for a property, and did not pursue them for an increase offer. Unbeknown to us this purchaser then offered higher through our new agent and we accepted. Now Fox and Sons are pursuing us for payment.
Although our purchaser has given our new agents a signed statement saying that Fox and Sons had told them to look elsewhere, and that they would not have purchased our house through Fox and Sons because of their proffesional attitude!!!!
Now were between a rock and a hard place, because Fox and Sons did not look after our interest, but only their own

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

I just fail to see how this company can trade like this and get away with it. So many complaints on here and I bet the good comments have been written by the agent themselves.
Fox and Sons really give estate agents a bad name and I shall certainly do my homework in the future before instructed one.
