WORST LETTING AGENT IN THE COUNTRY.
AVOID AT ALL COST! TERRIBLE SERVICE! TERRIBLE TREATMENT OF CLIENTS! TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION!

The team at Belvoir are the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with, 1 star is definitely too much. They provided me with a completely sub standard flat in Newcastle for £625 a month, the flat was covered in mould throughout, I had no hot water or heating for well over a month, the washing machine broke on numerous occasions and flooded the kitchen floor leaving me with a mess to clean up, thus adding to my already stressful and busy lifestyle all of which was 'my responsibility' additionally they put you in a catch 22 situation and inform you that you are not permitted to carry out certain tasks, then upon leaving the property charge you for this. A working example would be the fact I was not permitted to paint the walls as I would have been landed with a charge for doing so, but upon leaving the property I was charged a fee for the painting of the walls, even though the walls were damp and covered in mould.

The customer service this company provides is completely sub standard and that would be being nice. Considering the extortionate prices they charge for their awful properties, you'd expect some light at the end of the tunnel, but no, there is but only poor value for money on every aspect of their letting abilities.

The team at Belvoir (and even the Director of the company!) will do everything in their power to be as awkward as possible to make your let as displeasurable as possible and ensure that you're never happy with the property you are paying for and residing in. The blame will always be relayed to someone else, including yourself at a last resort! Just as long as it is not Belvoir who is in the blame they really don't care, even if that means lying.

If you're a student wanting to rent a property with Belvoir, from experience, I strongly urge you to reconsider and look elsewhere! You'll be treat with little to no respect and will get 0 value for money and be left with ridiculous reasons in which they wish to claim for damage or reasons to take money from your deposit.

If you're looking for a letting agent who will never accept responsibility for any problems that occur and will either ignore your request to resolve them or just laugh and try and shrug the serious problems off then Belvoir are the company for you!

If you are reading this, it may seem over the top and as though I am someone who complains and does this a lot. However, it's simply the first and most honest review of a terrible company I have ever created.

Once again I urge you never to use this company I can guarentee displeasure

I'm a currently a Tennant with them and they are so bad I don't know what to do. All these reviews on here I've experienced myself. You ask to speak to manager to put a complaint and she just sticks up for them. I knew what Id read online and know I was right. Surely there is a head office? i had such a bad experience with this letting agency, they sent someone to check the fire hazard in this apartment i was letting and the person who checked it disconnected the gas from the apartment as well as the oven claiming that it has a fire hazard and dangerous (this happened after around 8 months with me living in this place) then i contacted them to tell them about this and the sent someone after a week to reconnect the gas , i was frozen this week they left me with no gas so i can't turn on the heating !, and the landlady of this property refused to fix the oven , they kept promising me to fix the oven for 2 months ! so i was left without an oven or a cooker in this apartment, both the letting agency and the landlady refused to pay me any refund regarding leaving me with no cooker. i told them i will leave this apartment 15 days before the contract ends and they said since there was many problems the won't charge me thing for leaving this bad place which costs me 595 GBP a month !!! for not having a descent place to cook for 2 months ! i said that i want the full deposit back and they told me that i won't get it full because the landlady wants to charge me 180 GBP for cleaning the place (that i cleaned before i left), fixing the table (that was already broken when i came in), and fixing the door (i didn't understand what door they are talking about since the door was working well and i didn't break the door, did I !!! ) i think this company is not protecting the tenant , they didn't help me or protect me from the landlady who took 595 GBP a month !!!! for 12 months ! just because I am an international student they expected that I won't fight for this ! also what they said that they can't do anything to help me is stupid because i paid them agency fees when i signed the contract , also their names on the contract and i will give them zero starts on this review website , and i hope all students will avoid renting any property from this agency who cares only about the landlords not the people living in the places, sending this message to all students worldwide googling this agency hoping they will read it. cheers

We have 3 working days to acknowledge a written complaint



We then have 15 working days to give a FULL RESPONSE explaining the option to escalate the complaint to the TPO.



We then have 8 weeks to complete a full investigation and issue a final viewpoint letter.



These timescales are the same if the complainant comes directly to us.
