Frankly shocking. Extortionate fees (much higher than anywhere else in the City), atrocious customer service and dreadful communications - on the whole, avoid them like the plague. This agency is shockingly miss-managed by a bunch of totally inept and inexperienced staff who haven't a clue about customer service. I have rented through them for over a year and have been lied to on numerous occasions. If it was easier to escalate to the ombudsman I would do.
Comment on agent fees
Over £600 for two tenants - frankly it's disgusting, but to receive sub-standard customer service just adds insult to injury

I've had a very similar experience, shameful these agents. Don't give up on escalating to the ombudsman.

Dear Bob,

I am very sorry to hear you have had a bad service from another Martin & Co branch but I wonder if you would be so kind as to put this review against the correct office. You have posted against the Aldershot branch that covers the GU11, GU12 & GU14 areas. All Martin & Co offices are independently owned and operated and I can assure you as the owner of the Aldershot branch we have worked very hard over the last 9 years to provide great service to tenants and landlords as you will see from our reviews (96 reviews at 4.9 average).

I would really appreciate it if you could find the office that covers BN3 and post your review against that office as this seems a very innocent error but may affect my business here in Aldershot.

Kind regards

Richard Oldaker
