Next to no communication....constant lies and our bids for the property never made it to vendor. They lost us our house even though we made the highest offer!! Jun 15, 2012I am sorry that you are disappointed on missing out on this property, The seller accepted an offer on Saturday lunchtime 2nd June, you made an offer Saturday afternoon and subsequent higher bids which my vendor rejected, here is a copy of his email declining your offers - "Please proceed with the couple that offered £xxx,000 on Saturday. It's unfortunate for the couple who are with Coventry Newman's, but I had already accepted the above offer and I am not prepared to go back on my verbal acceptance as I would not like that to happen to myself (what goes around, comes around)" You did make a further offer which was put forward to the seller via email and post as he was on honeymoon overseas. So I am sorry that you have missed out on this house but I have to accept the sellers decision.

Jun 27, 2012I think what you have failed to mention is that we had already had an offer accepted on the property 2 weeks prior to this. We sold our house on the same day the vendor accepted a different offer but we were not informed of this and therefore didn't have the opportunity to increase our offer. When we did find out you conveniently couldn't get hold of the vendor for days on end by which time the ball had started rolling with the other buyers.
Lettings Complaint
Procedure
1. Please raise your complaint with the property manager or sales advisor that
is handling your case.
2. If the sales advisor \/
property manager cannot resolve the issue for you then please put your
complaint in writing addressed to the Lettings Manager for that particular
branch.
3. We will acknowledge to your
complaint in writing within 5 working days. We will also start a full
investigation.
4. In line with The Property
Ombudsman guidelines a full written outcome will be sent to you within 15
working days.
5. If you are not satisfied with
the full written outcome response from the Branch Manager you can write to the
Lettings Director. They will then respond to you with a statement of the final
view of the matter within 15 working days of receipt.
6. If you are still not satisfied
with the outcome, you can raise your complaint with the:
The Property Ombudsman
Milford House

Wiltshire SP1 2BP
7. When you have raised a
complaint with The Property Ombudsman they will write to us as agents
requesting our Property File and our version of the events. A case officer will
then undertake a formal review of your complaint largely based on the documents
from both sides
