The experience myself and my housemates had with keylet was beyond a joke. first of all, when we moved in to the property we were told that it would have been professionally cleaned prior to move in day. However, when we arrived, the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all! The property was covered in dust from top to bottom along with the fridge freezer being left off for a few days with the doors closed, resulting in a smell that took weeks to clear out. A chair had broken in one of the rooms to which we highlighted this, but with no further action. And to top it off, we got charged for this broken chair even though it wasn't our fault.
The maintenance team were always on call and did resolve issues we had, and the office team, especially Stacey and Anthony were very helpful, but these are the only positive aspects of our total experience.

Getting our deposits back was also an issue as they claimed completely ludicrous charges such as £10 for cleaning cobwebs in the hallway!!
We were charged for items that didn't need replacing and ridiculous costs for those that did.
we had highlighted issues during our inventory check and this had clearly been received by keylet as we had new furniture not long after this. However, when it came to our deposits, they claimed they had never seen the inventory, even though they had sent new furniture after we highlighted it!!
I find it extraordinary that a company such as this can take advantage of people to such an extent it's beyond acceptable. Especially university students, who seem to be the bulk of their clientele.

My advice, stay well away from Keylet. They will do ANYTHING to take money off you and give very little support in return, if any at all.
My sister uses CPS lettings and they have been far more accommodating. Use them or another alternative.
Comment on agent fees
Bad. Will do anything to get money out of people. Unfair and ridiculous prices.

No fees information available
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
