Dear Roberta, it's unfortunate to hear that you had a negative experience as one of our tenants. However, we would like to clarify a few points that you have raised regarding the condition of the property upon exit and the fact that no renewal was offered. Firstly, having reviewed the check out photographs (which are always extensive and document as much of the property as possible in case of a dispute), the property was not clean upon exit, there were red wine stains on the walls and a bag of rubbish outside the front door amongst other issues. Unfortunately you were not able to renew as the owner chooses to switch between long and short letting. We have no claim to your deposit funds and these are not used to ‘keep the flat to a good standard', but to reinstate it, where required, to the state it was given to you in.
