I've been putting my flat to rent with another agent for 5 years and decided to go with someone different after i had major issues.
I actually went to another local agent first and grew frustrated and went to Belvoir to see whether they could rent my flat out.
Carl was very professional and rented out the flat within a given time frame.
The good thing was that they wouldn't just get any old person off the street to rent the property out. they would make sure that the person had the right checks and balances which made me feel better as i have been stung before by a tenant from a different agent running away without paying the last couple months rent.
This time i feel safe in knowing that my property is in good hands.
At the end of the day as an agent they want to rent the property out to good people otherwise they wouldn't be in charge of renting it again which is bad for business, so they care for the property just as much as i do!
I know for a fact that they abide by the rules and laws which protect both the tenant and the landlord which is how the housing market should be - Carl made me understand some of the rules that i never knew about so that experience is necessary.
I dont really understand the negative reviews as i have not encountered any problems with Belvoir or Carl whereby they have been brilliant to me and i would recommend.

Also Carle, the comment left by Kevin Zimmerman below my complaint shows that you cannot take any responsibility for any of your actions. We were in a similar situation to Kevin in fact. If I hadn't made myself clear in the comment, let me point out that the owner spoke at the property informed of an exchange date that had been confirmed. I highly doubt that an offer was made on the Friday and the exchange date was in place for the Monday. I must also stress that the gentleman didn't once apologise. There are many agents who charge less than this agent but then you get very poor service...this is my experience hence I will always be willing to pay that bit extra for the service provided by Belvoir Lettings as I am guaranteed a good return for my money
