WLP is a highly professional agency and they keep this high standard at all levels, which also includes charging tenants at their leave.
Very kind and helpful at the start, and bit disorganised shortly after that. I used to rent a ground floor studio flat via WLP a time ago. With this high standard of service which WLP represents, I had to wait two months to have two window locks repaired, which means those windows were basically open/unlocked at that time. I had to remind them about that urgent issue several times during that period of time. Two months to replace those tiny broken locks! (still got it all in emails on my phone) for a rent of 700 pounds/month!
Please be careful when moving in to and leaving a property with WLP - take pictures of every single corner carefully, do not think that a bit of dirt is fine, because when it comes to a checkout they will charge you for everything, even a ridiculous piece of dust. Not kidding! In their agreement they say "Return possession of the Property at the end of the Tenancy in the same good clean state and condition as it was at the beginning of the Tenancy..." Make sure both of you stick to this rule, because from my experience I can say that they will do everything to charge you for, as one of their workers said to me "light clean of the flat" (60 pounds), in my opinion - in order to make the property looking better at the market, but at your expense!
Their service turnaround and checkout charges are my main complains associated with WLP. If it sounds like a cliche to you - fine, but to me their service doesn't fully correlate with the amount of money they charge people with for.
Comment on agent fees
In my opinion their service doesn't fully correlate with the amount of money they charge people with for.
