Be very wary of the asking price on the sale of properties advertised by this agency. I visited their studio in Lincoln gate Red bank Manchester for which the asking price was 110,000 (now reduced to 107,500 on Rightmove). I then visited another studio flat in the same building, which was exactly the same specification and, as far as I could see, decorated to the same standard. This has now been sold for 93,500 (first listed on rightmove on 24 April 2017) so a vast difference in price of £14,000

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. I assume you are the same Jenny who made an offer (which was accepted), only to withdraw from the sale when you saw a cheaper alternative and were unsuccessful in getting your revised lower offer agreed. I can see why as a purchaser you would be frustrated.
We are however committed to achieving the best possible deal for our vendor clients. Vendor circumstances can differ from property to property and in a development like Lincoln Gate ...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Vendor circumstances can differ from property to property and in a development like Lincoln Gate where there are lots of renters in occupation, things like the standard of furnishing and rental term/income can affect the desirability and therefore what someone is willing to pay. I am sorry that on this occasion your proposed reduction did not work for the other party involved.
