Contacted Lovelle about properties to view and they were polite and helpful in booking viewings.
Viewed a property and were specifically told, upon asking, no-one else had applied - so we applied.
The day AFTER applying, we were told they were expecting other people to apply within the next day or so and wanted to give the landlord a choice. 6 days after applying we received a phone call saying the landlord had chosen someone else.
Immediately after hanging up on us we were called back to ask if we wanted to view one of their other properties, to which we told them we already had and then they asked if we wanted to apply for that instead - we said we were going elsewhere.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
