Poor service, slipshod workmanship and constantly have to chase them up. When we moved into this property, there was a problem with the drains such that food waste returned back into the sink and wouldn't drain away.
This took months to solve the first time round, as they would send out a different person to look at the problem each time, who would do virtually nothing, say how the company had to fix a bigger problem with the drains, and then we wouldn't hear anything. You have to constantly chase them up or nothing happens, and when you call through they seem oblivious to any kind of time pressure to get anything done.
After 4 attempts and calling the council to initiate a formal complaint they finally installed valve to stop the food waste coming back the other way. This took months.
Now the there is a problem again, caused by the same thing, and I can't use the kitchen sink to wash up because it doesn't drain.
Everything in this flat has been done in the most cynical and bean counting manner. Virtually none of the light switches are the right way up or connected in any logical manner. The hot water system doesn't work properly - you can't switch on the hot water without firing up the central heating. We started to chase this up with Hamways but got so tired of hassling them we gave up.
They don't care about anything other than the bottom line, and only that if you threaten to make a complaint to the council.
