Summary: Absolutely appalling service from start to finish. Seriously - don't go anywhere near them unless you crave dissapointment and enjoy being messed around or inconvienienced.

I don't know where to start - the little things frankly don't bother me any more, for example, when we first moved in it took three months before I gave up waiting and started fixing things in the flat myself.

I have rang them dozens of times over the last six months and nigh on every time the person i needed to speak to wasn't available and I got the stock answer "Do you want me to get them to phone you back?" - I haven't once received a return phone call.

When we first moved into the first flat there was a couple of issues, my "favourite" is that on the viewing and all the subsequent phone calls etc, we were promised that there was parking. But when we came to collect the keys - there was not. We were repeatedly told that there was nothing they could do, the member of staff had made a mistake. Because we just sat there and refused to move till it was sorted about an hour later they suddenly decided that they could give us a parking space for 6 months. They kept trying to remind us that it was free parking and that we should be grateful to them for doing this favour. Some how they missed the fact that the verbal agreement we had had previously with them included parking at the same rate of rent they were continuing to charge us, despite their mess up.

My latest experience however has pushed my impression of them to an unrecoverable depth. Despite their short comings I decided to continue with them for the next six months in a flat in the same building - I liked the building and wanted to stay.

I was told that they had such a flat and that the soon-to-be owners were just in the final stages of collecting the keys so in just a couple of days they would arrange a viewing for me and if I was happy I could move into that one. Naturally that day never came, despite the fact that i was repeatedly being told "its happening tomorrow", or "at the end of the week".

Naturally I was a bit concerned at this stage that in the current climate a lot of people have no money to do things like buy a house, so wanted to make sure that nothing was going to go wrong - I was assured that it was very close to completion so wouldn't be a problem and that should anything go wrong they would hapily let me stay in my current flat for a little bit longer.

I phoned them up about a week before we were due to move in and asked them where things were up to, a reasonably polite person on the other end said "but your not supposed to move in for another 6 weeks"... Whoa, hold on a minute - what do you expect me to do in the meantime?

The first person I spoke to said that they would let me stay in the flat until the other one was sorted and that because it was their responsibility they would allow me cheap rent for the extra week. A day later and I was told that that was not possible and that it never was possible. Their serious suggestion was that I should move into a hotel, but that they were not prepared to cover the costs of any of it. As it happens the completion date had been set as just under a week after i was supposed to move in. Eventually they agreed to allow me to stay in the flat a week longer but that they would charge me full rent for the period.

On top of this they said that I had to move out of my existing flat before I could collect the keys to the new one - with 24 hours in between. I can't work out if it just hadn't occured to the guy about what I was supposed to do in the meantime - I was expected to move into a hotel for the night or I leave my stuff boxed up outside the new flat.

Three days before the latest move in date and I got a phone call at 5pm - "Hi, just wanted to check where your up to with regards to your move in and to see why we haven't received your Tenant Referencing form". I was under the impression that because I was an existing tenant they already had all the details about me that they needed, whats more I hadn't even been sent a form to fill in. I was told that I must get it to them as soon as possible otherwise I would not be able to move in on time. I was told that they would email me a copy and that I had to fax the form back to them immediately. I'm not sure about everyone, but I don't know very many households that have a fax machine...

"Well, you will have to bring them in now - we are open for another half an hour."

Flabberghasted and unable to make it I told them that this was not going to be possible, eventually on my suggestion they agreed that they had a viewing in my building tomorrow and that they would collect them from me in the morning.

It's just as well I have a flexible job as I was still waiting at 1pm, no one had arrived. I phoned them and got the usual "I'll get them to phone you back" speech. Several hours later I actually got a return call from an extremely rude man telling me that they were unable to pick them up and as a result I had to get the forms to them.

When I complained I was told that they were doing this for me not for them and that if I didn't get the forms to them they would just have to delay my move in date. After several minutes of silence I eventually came up with an idea and after leaving me on hold for 15 minutes they decided that my solution was acceptable.

The best bit is - the day before I was supposed to move in I got a phone call "Hi, I have some good news and some bad news - thebad news is that the completion has fallen through on the flat you were supposed to be moving into, but the good news is we have a replacement flat for you...."

Please be warned - don't use them. Most of the residents in this building and the surrounding ones are Isaac Anthony, I have spoken to quite a few of them and not a single one I have spoken to has had anything but a bad experience.

They are rude, they don't address customers professionally,no salutation in their mails. They need to be cautioned. They'll never refund their deposit. Their reputation is so tarnished, they had to change their name to Allison and co
