We had a catalogue of issues which I will highlight as best I can in
chronological order.

¢â‚¬Â¢    October 2011 expressed interest in the property agreed a moving in
date of Nov 4th 2011
¢â‚¬Â¢    Nov 1st 2011 received a call from Sam to advise that previous
tenants would not be moving out until Nov 11th this then resulted in
us having to move twice once from our previous address and then from
temporary accommodation which resulted in considerable cost to us due
to the short notice served to us by your staff
¢â‚¬Â¢    Nov 11th 2011 another phone call received from Sam to say move in
date would now be Nov 15th due to same issues above
¢â‚¬Â¢    Nov 15th keys etc. received check in completed and we never received
a copy of the defects your company had noted which should have
highlighted the issues below
¢â‚¬Â¢    Nov 16th 2011 shower would not turn on this was not mentioned in the
first tour of the house so clearly this wasn't checked on the checkout
with the previous tenants as I went to check the fuse in the cupboard
under the stairs I fell through an unsecure panel on the floor filled
with rubbish into some pipes causing considerable cuts and bruising to
my left shin and right hip
¢â‚¬Â¢    Nov 16th Call placed to Sam Hughes she advised a new shower would be
fitted and someone would come and fix the loose board this took over a
week
¢â‚¬Â¢    No evidence of an electrical certificate after shower fitted
¢â‚¬Â¢    Plumber fitted shower
¢â‚¬Â¢    Jan 2012 high winds caused slates to fly off roof causing roof to
leak and damage to John's work van at a cost of excess of £500
¢â‚¬Â¢    2 weeks after incident roofer came to ¢â‚¬Å“fix¢â‚¬Â roof did a partial job
and left asbestos outside our front door. This asbestos is still there
¢â‚¬Â¢    Roofer said he would return to finish the job and never has.
¢â‚¬Â¢    Feb 2012 complaint made to Sam re no cover of damage to John's
vehicle Sam sent copy of letter to Landlord from insurer and the
wording states ¢â‚¬Å“the insurance cannot cover damage to your property¢â‚¬Â it
wasn't their property it was ours and John (the other tenant) owns a
property which he lets and he has specific landlord insurance which
does cover any damage to his tenants property via the building
insurance. I have escalated this via RBS as from the letter it is
clear that the insurance is for the owner but not the tenant which is
concerning
¢â‚¬Â¢    Feb 2012 NTQ received as owner wished to sell property
¢â‚¬Â¢    Spoke to Sam to ask if we moved before end of lease would we be liable
¢â‚¬Â¢    No response for a number of weeks
¢â‚¬Â¢    April 2012 Brenda called to arrange a viewing for the property I
asked again re moving out sooner and liability for rent Brenda
confirmed with landlord that if we moved sooner we would only be
liable for rent until date we lived there
¢â‚¬Â¢    May 2012 shower breaks again and again another week to fix
¢â‚¬Â¢    Fuse found to have copper wire in it (illegal I believe)
¢â‚¬Â¢    Again proof no electrical certificate
¢â‚¬Â¢    05/05/2012 email sent to Sam to advise our moving date
¢â‚¬Â¢    11/05/2012 response received from Mary Wilson
¢â‚¬Â¢    Checkout requested from any time from the 5th
¢â‚¬Â¢    Checkout not completed until the 15th on a day I had to take from work
¢â‚¬Â¢    Absolutely zero flexibility from your staff for your customer
¢â‚¬Â¢    Checkout date 15th May. Staff had no copy of our checkin to compare
¢â‚¬Â¢    No date given for deposit return
¢â‚¬Â¢    Friday 18th may call made to enquire about status Mary is not in and
nobody else seems to know anything
¢â‚¬Â¢    Monday 21st May Call placed at 0930 am Mary again not in and nobody
seems to know what is happening.
We are now at the stage where after having given what we thought was sufficient proofs of payment exactly 1 week later we chased and were told they were no sufficient so had to provide further proof this was blamed on Mary Renfrew no apology and I was called abusive.
The money is now with the elusive cash office and I have made a formal complaint to te office and had a letter acknowledging receipt another stalling tactic, I'm in dire straits because of their sheer disregard and incompetence and inability to communicate with people 3 feet away.
