Well, we appealed to the Property Redress Scheme after the terrible experience in Woodville Road - you can read about that elsewhere. Just to tell you, in updating matters, that we didn't get a working cooker for around nine months after we were promised one so we couldn't actually cook anything properly in our house. That's aside from all the other things such as no hot water and heating for most of the year, major security and safety issues and so forth. We have received compensation from the PRS as a result but that is in the capacity of Horizon as agents. We are now going after Gitto, the property company owned by Victoria Al-Khafaji and her husband, a disqualified company director just to build up your confidence even more, the same people who own Horizon, and we will sue them in their capacity as landlords. I would recommend this agent and landlord in the sense of recommending that you don't touch them with a 10' barge pole.

This is a fake review. I was in the Horizon office when this was being done and it was the subject of a joke. Delete to save yourself some embarassment. ...

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
