Single handedly the worst agent I have ever come across, I work in a lettings agency myself and the amount of laws they break is just completely outrageous. They changed my deposit scheme midway from TDS to MyDepsoits, without even telling me or producing me a new contract or providing me with my certificate from the deposit scheme. They tried charging me for re-inspections for having a tiny bit of limescale on the taps, I refused to pay this on multiple occassions and they did eventually stop asking me for the payment but not first without threatening legal action against me. When it came to moving out, I had to request for the release of my deposit myself because they were taking weeks to get back to me and after 3 months, a deposit scheme will not be able to help you with your deposit and you have to go through a small claims court usually. I did stain a carpet, it was about 5cm the stain and even though I got the property professionally cleaned they couldn't get it out, I knew that there would be a small charge for this as we take 'proportionment' charges and was expecting around £50, they tried to take £536 for the replacement of the carpets (again, not legal, you can not charge for brand new carpets unless they were brand new when you moved in and even still £536 is a massive amount of money) I took this to dispute and after a loooooong 3 months I got my deposit back minus £50 for the stain, I was so happy that the scheme sided with me and not these utter cowboys. They take you for a ride and they're without a doubt the worst agency I have ever had to deal with!! If they really are shut down I hope they don't pop up under another name as they are scamming people!! I wish I was able to give them no stars!

Wow - AJ really will go to any lengths to try and hide his own dishonesty. You only have to read previous reviews of this company and AJ himself to see what he is truly like to deal with. As for myself, we did indeed work for him for around 8yrs, on and off. We fell out on several occasions due to his business practices and on each occasion he would come running back to us telling us that we were the best contractors he had ever used and he had changed his ways.

Hi we recently left from a property that AJ owned. He only gave me back half of my deposit with deducted agency check out fees, administration fees and cleaning fees. He gave half of it back without agreeing it to me.... Did you get anything back? really annoying as mine is now released from the deposit scheme or they were that dodgy that it never was in a deposit scheme?! ...
