Selling your house is one the biggest and nerve wracking things you can do in life. So after having been signed up with two Estate Agents, one of which I found to be quite underhand, I was left feeling very deflated, exhausted as well disheartened. However, that all changed the minute I walked through door of Hunters Estate Agents at Forest Hill. I'll never forget that moment, it was dark, cold and the weather was symbolic of my mood. I was greeted by David Ramadhin a quietly confident, friendly warm guy, who I instantly felt comfortable with. I sat down and basically told him my story! He listened and explained what Hunters could do, to get my house sold in order to get to where I wanted to be. Before I signed up with yet another Estate Agents, I really wanted a close valued friend to meet David and give me her opinion, as I was in danger of being run out of town with my Estate Agent usage! My friend was impressed, her words were: that guy will sell your house so I signed on the dotted line. David gave me advice on what to do to get my house sold, even down to the timing of selling. I implemented all the improvements to the house as he suggested and put my trust in his hands. After being on the market for 6 weeks, my house was under offer, with a price I wanted. This was important, as I needed a certain price in order to buy a specific house in Canterbury. Throughout the process David and his partner were always a phone call away! You see selling my house was more than just moving, it was creating a new life, from an old life that I'd felt very stuck in, and sometimes, felt would never leave, I was able to covey this to them! You see one thing I felt Hunters gave you was not only their experience of selling houses along with solutions, etc, they gave you their time! Something that I feel lacks in this busy world today! Not only did they sell my house, they also helped me with decision making on finding a new house, which I eventually did. That in itself is not always straight forward! As, I sit in my new home today, I have a lot to be grateful for - David and Sarah of Hunters in Forest Hill – they got me my new life and held me through the process!
