I've been happy with the service from touchstone for the most part. Shirley is really helpful, she always gets back to me and makes every endeavour to sort out an issue as it arises as fast as possible.
The only negative I would raise is that we have lived in the block for three years now and the rent has gone up £50 per year but ever since i moved in to this property in March 2014 we have not been able to access the property from the car park unless the access door on the ground floor is left off the latch as nobody has a key which works to unlock this door so the block is not as secure as possible.
The communal areas of the block need to be repainted and it would be good to have the balcony glass windows cleaned more regularly as part of the communal cleaning as this is not accessible to clean from the flat.
Comment on agent fees
As mentioned above the fees have gone up £50 per year, I don't want to move from this flat but if the rent continues to rise at this rate I will be forced to look for a similar property at a cheaper rate. I know that other two bedroom flats in this block have been advertised at a cheaper rate, why should you get penalised for being a good tenant and living here longer?
