Phoned to view a property and my partner was told she would have to take a small phone financial plan interview to make sure she was ok to purchase the property.
When I phoned to clarify , a young woman told me it was because the property was not on the internet yet (it was on rightmove) we had to be pre-qualified.
Connell's complaints department then said that after speaking to the branch ,it was because the vendor, had let the house , and wanted all viewers pre-qualified.
Clearly this is simply a sales tactic to mop up more mortgage customers for Connell's.
