I was very disappointed with the extremely unprofessional conduct from Neil, the Shanklin sales manager. There's too many indiscretions to list here but my advice is to be careful what you sign. He didn't explain any of the papers and even tried to get me to sign a blank contract without filling in the commission fee. A number he would filled in to his liking afterwards.
And it just downhill all the way from there onwards. We had buyers who weren't buyers at all; who put a bid in and did nothing to follow it up, while the property was taken off the market for weeks on end. All the time being reassured by Pittis that the sale was proceeding normally.
Estate agents on the island don't enjoy the best of reputations, but nothing could have prepared me for all the tricks Pittis pulled on me.
I wouldn't recommend using this company. I suffered an agonizing six months of lies and deceit and lost sleep and still didn't get a sale at the end of it. Engage them at your peril.
And when I put a review on trustpilot voicing my concerns, instead of addressing the numerous, serious issues I'd raised I got a phone call from head office begging me to remove it.
How is the truth ever going to come out if critical reviews are removed? How are you going to improve a company's performance if you don't acknowledge issues?
