Comment on agent fees

Excellent value for money. Don't be fooled by the online 'bargain basement' fees quoted by the likes of Purple Bricks.....with those guys everything other than basic paperwork is charged for. With Mike Dobson's, you give them the keys to your property, and leave them to it. For a reasonable fixed fee, they deal with all prospective buyers, arrange and attend viewings without you needing to be there, and provide timely feedback. And moreover, they give realistic valuations, as they know the local property market, rather than give inflated valuations in order to secure business; My parents' house in the end sold for exactly the price indicated by Mike in the initial valuation. There must have been 10 viewings of the property, all conducted by MikeDobsons staff, and subsequent reports to me.....I hesitate to think what the costs for that would have been with an online agent, or the hassle for myself. Estate Agents get a bad press, often for good reason, but I can testify that MikeDobsons is a progressive, innovative company with old fashioned values, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
