Duplicitous and expensive.

Ive had a similar experience once they have your business they aren't interested. You get palmed off to a call centre where staff have no idea where Kings Lynn is let alone any idea about property issues. Apart from their management fees Ive been told by two of their Approved Contractors' that they take a percentage of the invoice as commission for passing the business to the contractor. Its fair to assume the contractor allows for that so the landlords are paying twice. I now deal direct with contractors and i certainly dont use WH Brown.
Tenants BE WARNED. I know there is a shortage of rental properties but Ive been told on more than one occasion that these charge more than any other agent and why because its all about commission.

Full management fee was £1530 plus a further £540 admin charges. ABSOLUTE RIP OFF given that they neglected and completely mismanaged the property. They will take the fee and then tell you when their is an issue that the management fee only covers administration.

Are you sure you mean searches and not enquiries? If it is enquiries raised, then this is down to the purchasers' solicitor, not the estate agent or your solicitor. If you do mean searches then: Point 1; the speed of which searches arrive are not dictated by the estate agent nor the purchasers' conveyancer. The sooner the buyer pays for it, the sooner they can be submitted. Point 2; the type of searches that come back are not dictated or made up by the estate agent or legal conveyancer. ...

This must of happened to us our offers not gone through to seller, William h brown didn't even log out details after telling them twice. They let us go through a long process and waste people's time. We asked for a transfer from jobs and schools and had a builder go round to see work needed doing.. I'm convinced they have sold it to one of their own, when I find out I'm taking it further even if it takes me years . This can't happen to people's feelings, they can't keep getting away with it X ...
