I had a recent dealing with this agency, and let me clear up the confusion (if any) they are the worst agency i had ever let from- and i have been renting in london for over 5 years now with many different agencies. Any fool can see from all the other comments the vast contrast between the excellent and 5 star reviews and the 1 star real reviews and anybody can figure out all the 5 stars are done in house by their own staff. I can tell you that i rented a property on Archway Road and dealing with this agency was just the worst decision i ever made. The build up to the let was bad the staff are so unhelpful yet polite there is definately no training there and you just feel like your talking to yourself. When i moved into the flat it wasnt ready damp patches and furniture had not been arranged and it was the same old story when trying to get my deposit back from them the usual tricks blaming the landlord for stupid and made up deductions! if it wasnt for me complaining to the deposit scheme service and the agency having no proof of deductions that i managed to get back my full deposit and an apology from the agency for what they call standard practice... unbelievable!!

If your fond of your own money and dont want the extra stress and loss of years on your life of having to fight throughout your tenancy even before and after then really avoid this agency at all costs and look for an agency like i did with real recommendations through word of mouth that friends have used. Im sorry C P Pappas but its due to your own bad treatment towards me and trying to steal my deposit that this review has been prompted.
What agent could do to change your mind?
If they took care of the things they promised me from the start like even cleaning the flat, ordered the furniture they promised me and painted even just over the damp patches like they promised and i have the proof. And if they returned my deposit in full within the 10 days your legally supposed to and generally were not a pain in the arse and constanly lying to me (not mentioning any names) (whops i filled out a name by accident at the top).

None of the agencies ask for 3 months deposit and 3 months rent in advance if you don't have a UK guarantor (6 months rent in advance is what you will find). Basically you tying up your money in deposit that you might have a difficulty getting it back.

The fees were very reasonable. ‚£100 all in per person. This included for referencing, inventory and check in fees. This is extremely reasonable and unheard of throughout the London letting agents market. I would normally pay roughly ‚£200 + per person.
